Overview

Our Paediatric First Aid Course gives participants the skills and knowledge to treat children and infants for injuries that may occur in normal day to day activities. Participants will learn you how to assess and deal with choking, CPR, burns and other medical conditions specific to children.

Course Objective

On completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Treat children and infants for injuries.
Deal with choking.
Preform CPR on children and infants.

Course Requirements

In order to partake in this course, participants must meet the following requirements:
Must be over the age of 16 years.
Have a good level of English.

Introduction.
Airways & CPR
Choking & Introducing Foods
Poisoning
Burns
Fractures and soft tissue injuries
Bleeds
Temperature Management
Febrile Convulsions
Anaphylaxis
Rashes
Head Injury

1 Day

Theory & Practical Assessment

Course Certification

On successful completion, participants will be awarded with a Basic First Aid Certification which is valid for 2 years.
